The Material Way is a collaborative platform dedicated to material-based studies, supporting creators who aim to cultivate a holistic, local, and nature-centric future.

Founded by Curator Rita Trindade of Through Objects and Creative Director Bonnie Hvillum of Natural Material Studio, this initiative builds upon their prior collaboration in offering online courses on local biomaterials. The platform’s mission is to foster a community of makers and designers through an extensive international program - Local Bio-based Materials.
